Avenue Marly
This office building fulfils the criteria for the passive standard. It achieves a high energy performance thanks to the building shell: 11kWh/m2.yr. A high level of cellulose insulation in a wooden structure allows this level to be reached.
The materials used are ecological: celite, ecological paint, FSC wood, and marmoleum. Airtightness and controlled ventilation limit internal losses. To avoid overheating during the summer, passive cooling systems such as night cooling and a ground-coupled heat exchanger have been installed.
Energy needs are thus reduced. An extensive green roof and a rainwater cistern complete the project. Part of the electricity will be renewable in nature: 318 m2 of photovoltaic panels are installed on the roof. A centralised technical management system allows visualisation (on a PC) and regulation of the energy parameters.
