Between the Senne and the Woluwe

This 6.5 km-long section is essentially urban. It passes along the plateau of the village of Evere, connecting the valleys of the Senne and its principal tributary, the Woluwe, which has its source in the Forest of Soignes. Main attractions Small green spaces such as Doolegt Park or the Clos de l’Argilière.

Nearby: heritage sites of the municipality of Evere, such as the old mill or the farm cottage. Brussels Cemetery, with a remarkable layout, housing the tombs of numerous leading figures in Brussels: Théodore Verhaegen, Charles de Brouckère, Jules Anspach, and Adolphe Max. Toward the Woluwe, after following along Roodebeek Park, the semi-natural site of the Val d’Or, the name of which recalls the harvests of yesteryear. Near the Boulevard de la Woluwe, the small site of Hof ten Berg, with several kitchen gardens and an interesting wetland.
