Along this 6.3 km-long section are two large complexes on either side of the canal: to the north, the green spaces in the vicinity of the Royal Domain; to the south, along the Schaerbeek train formation yard, the Moeraske nature reserve and very distinct parks Main attractions Long tree-lined strip that follows Avenue Van Praet alongside the Royal Domain. Numerous royal parks and gardens: Laeken Park, Colonial Garden, Sobieski Park, Jardin du Fleuriste.

Nearby: the woodland park of Osseghem, the Atomium, the royal greenhouses of Laeken and the Museums of the Far East (Chinese Pavilion, Japanese Tower and new Museum of Japanese Art). Moeraske nature reserve with its various biotopes, spring, marsh, tall grass meadow and wooded embankment. Bon Pasteur Park, next to the Saint-Vincent church, with recreational or rest areas. Walckiers Park, overgrown and very rich in terms of biodiversity.
