A Bruxelles, découvrez:

The Parc de la Rosée

This park has a double objective: on the one hand, development of a green space in a neighbourhood deficient in parks, squares and plantings, and on the other hand, opening a space for play, meeting, and walks in a disadvantaged neighbourhood of the capital.

Development of the park was completed at the beginning of 2000. At the request of the population, it is based on areas delimited by the type of activities: a sport field, two play areas, a gazebo, a grassy hill, a petanque court, a garden for socialising with a more planted appearance, interconnected footpaths and numerous benches.

To heighten the “green” aspect of the park, hedges and trees have been planted: maples, pear trees, cherry trees, birches, Turkish hazel, pedunculate oak, rowans and lindens.

With the exception of the sport field, all the ground coverings are permeable, which provides the soil with water that is very useful for the plants during dry periods. The gardeners of Brussels Environment maintain the park once per week, answer the questions of the users, and establish ties with them, and have become indispensable contacts.
