Rue des 2 tours
The higher and higher cost of utility charges guided the creation of this building of three- to four-room flats, with a result of 14kwh/ m2.yr achieved. Everything possible has been done to ensure optimal comfort of the occupants: thermal and acoustic comfort, an efficient ventilation system and visual comfort, green spaces on the ground floor, an extensive green roof, and a vertical garden.
Special attention has been paid to the choice of materials and construction systems: acacia wood cladding, façades embellished with a brick facing wall, a bluestone base, Resol insulation and bearing wall of sand-lime blocks. Twenty-four square metres of solar panels provide 30% of the domestic hot water needs.
“Social Energy Guidance” assists the tenants in managing the building.
