A Bruxelles, découvrez:

Rue du libre examen

In the municipality of Anderlecht, this construction with a wooden structure includes four passive residences, one of them adapted for persons with reduced mobility. The construction and finishing materials are ecological and chosen to insulate the building as well as possible: FSC wood, cellulose, wood fibre, linoleum, etc. In order to limit the area heated as much as possible, the designers have left the main stairwell, the landings, the storage facilities, and access to the terraces outside the shell.
The result is heating consumption reduced to15kWh/m2.yr (Brussels average: 106). Aeration is provided by a mechanical ventilation system. Twelve square metres of solar panels supply the water heater, and a remote surveillance system allows its principal parameters to be controlled. The rainwater recovery system, supplying the service areas as well as the toilets of each flat, is also monitored.
