Rue du pépin
This new building includes 13 high-quality housing units, a penthouse, an art gallery on the ground floor, and car parks in the basements. It implements a contemporary architecture: minerality and in-depth work on the façades, stratification, and vertical openings.
The structure of the building makes use of reinforced concrete, a wooden frame and a metallic framework for the floor slabs and roofs. The external walls are prefabricated lightweight modules. A garden with terrace occupies the interior of the block.
Grey water is UV-treated (a new technology) before being redistributed for sanitary facilities and cleaning. Large window areas, glazed façades (the penthouse and ground floor), and solar panels complete the methods used to achieve a result of 15/40kWh/m2.yr for energy consumption.
